Whoa! Where did the time go?

I want to start by apologizing for not posting since the Spring. I started this Blog and then life got crazy with my vacation and a couple of hospitalizations for dehydration. I am finally getting back to where things are normal. I apologize for not keeping up with this blog for so long... but I'm back, better and I'm ready to pick up where I left off.

Lets start with book club.

Bombshells + Books is still active on Instagram. I have posted approximately 33 reviews at the time of posting this for 2024 books. The virtual book club did not get much interest back in April and after my vacation, I was truly all over the place and it took me until July to finish another book. Besides that I found that people enjoy my book reviews but weren't really into the virtual meetings on Discord... and that's okay. Lets try again, and this time I will do physical meet ups. We can start at my salon for the October book. For October I will choose the book, and moving forward anyone who attends the meeting of B+B Book Club will have the opportunity to submit their suggestions for the next book. The October book is Stephen King "Bag of Bones". Four years after the sudden death of his wife, forty-year-old bestselling novelist Mike Noonan is still grieving. October Promotions:

Complimentary Single Card Oracle Readings are now BY REQUEST. I was consistent earlier in the year with sending readings via text after each appointment was complete. When I returned from vacation in April I had trouble keeping up. I ask that if you would like a single card reading to let me know before you leave the salon. For October only: I will give you the option to choose either a Single Card Tarot or a Single Card Oracle reading.

Loyalty Rewards are back. Ask for your Rewards Card at your next appointment (while supplies last). On your 6th visit you get 50% off your haircut.

Scheduling

As we approach the holiday season, please consider prebooking appointments at least a month in advance. I will be utilizing the waitlist and disabling online booking for November and December to be able to reduce gaps on my schedule.

Phone Calls & Emails:

In the past few months I have been experiencing an enormous amount of unsolicited incoming calls and emails. I have had to disable incoming calls from unsaved numbers but they are still able to leave voicemails. I have been having to delete 10s of thousands of emails which are causing emails to be returned undeliverable. For this reason I ask that if you are trying to contact me to schedule, reschedule or cancel appointments please send me a text message for the quickest response. I do not want your call, email, or voicemail to get lost. I appreciate your understanding.

Success:

The Maintenance Menu gained traction early on and is still proving a success.

If you havent tried it yet, consider adding a Warm Tone Gloss with a Gloss & Treat Service for your next appointment. We also offer a clear gloss that will add the shine without the tone. Or choose the Treat option and get a deep condition in lieu of a regular conditioner.

TikTok posts are where you can learn about the Kevin Murphy products I carry in my salon. Its a small brand and not many people know the benefits so I have made a point to educate on some of the products I find are useful.
