The Countdown is Closing In: A Leap of Faith this Autumn Equinox

The big reveal is right around the corner. On September 22, as the seasons shift and the world steps into the Autumn Equinox, I am officially revealing a brand new name for the salon.

Way back in 2007, I established Bombshells by Melissa. For almost 20 years, I have been incredibly honored to sit with you, style you, and grow with you behind the chair. Two decades of stories, transformations, laughter and celebrations have brought us this moment. The salon has evolved deeply over the years, and it is time for the name on the door to reflect the heart and soul of what this business has truly become.

Aligning this change with the Autumn Equinox is no accident. The Equinox is a rare, beautiful moment of perfect balance before we transition into a new season. It represents a shedding of the old to make room for the new.

Taking this step feels exactly like The Fools Journey in the tarot- a true leap of faith. It requires stepping out into the unknown with an open heart, trusting the process and believing in the magic of new beginnings. I am packing up the incredible legacy we've built since 2007 and stepping forward into this next chapter with ultimate trust.

Since August 6, the countdown has been ticking away, and I've been quietly leaving a trail of breadcrumbs. I've dropped several hidden Easter Eggs about what the new name might be, and with the date closing in, I am dying to know: has anyone cracked the code yet?

As the salon evolves, I am also upgrading the way we connect to make booking smoother than ever.

*TEXT TO BOOK: Getting on my schedule just got incredibly easy. If you are a New Client (or an Existing Client sending a referral) simply text "HAIR" to the salon number to get started. If you are and existing client, text BOOKNOW to instantly request your next ritual session!

*Virtual Consultation: I am constantly looking for ways to respect your time and dive deep into your hair goals before you even step through the door. I am considering launching virtual consultations via Facetime for Apple users, and I am looking into other alternatives to branch out for all users. This may also be a way to have a distance divination readings. Would this be helpful for you? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

*Elevate your experience: Along with the new name, and tech updates, I am shifting the energy to treat you to an even more curated experience. I'll have moved away from the old snacks of chips and candy to introduce select single serve grazing option for you to enjoy during your appointment. I will also be debuting a signature beverage featuring a special Signature Mocktail monthly- crafted specifically to match the mood and flavors of each season. This month enjoy a "Pixie Potion" a light refreshing citrus beverage that aligns perfectly with the end of summer. Single serving graze options will be given at time of appointment as the option availability may change.
