I have finally done it.
I have decided to start a virtual book club. The meetup will be virtual, because let's face it, we are busy and we are INTROVERTS. The FIRST book is The Frozen River. This is a true crime historical fiction novel and I think it's perfect for spring... mainly because when the river thaws in spring is when so many things come to surface. I also started the Spring Break Promotions early (at the ending of March) and they will go until April 6th. Promotions included are virtual tarot and reiki sessions, a BOGO retail sale, and raffle entries, etc.
This month I'm also doing an educational series on my social media platforms. The education is product knowledge information that is useful to anyone who uses and purchases products from the Kevin Murphy Retail Line I provide.
Some other exciting things happening: I've added some Express Maintenance Services to my menu. These services are budget and time management friendly. You can get an Express Maintenance hair service on your Lunch Break for about $50.
In April I stopped providing complimentary Tarot readings during appointments since I added them to my service menu as a paid service. You can still get a tarot reading, but it'll be for a small fee. The great news is that you don't need a hair appointment to book a Tarot appointment or Reiki session and you can opt for a virtual session so you don't even have to come into the salon.
My vacation is coming up! By now you may know that I am taking time off April 21-30. The truth is, I have scheduled a medical procedure which requires me to take a minimum of 2 weeks off to recover. Those dates of unavailability I have been posting about are April 16-30. My procedure is on April 17th and I expect to be discharged on April 18th. I am not ready to disclose what that procedure is yet, but I'm confident it won't matter that I'm giving this information here with this blog being so new... but also who is actually reading all of this? If you are, send me a message...I'd love to know who my real supporters are. Anyway, I will not be available for communication during my hospital stay, but I might choose to post a separate blog post to give you all an update if I'm feeling well enough, so check back if you've made it this far to be curious and concerned.
April 22, 24,25,26,27,29: I will accept appointment requests for virtual tarot or reiki sessions. Otherwise, April availability is limited so connect with me directly to schedule your next hair appointment for April or May. I CURRENLTY have availability up until April 15 and will be posting on my IG dates and times, but if you know you need an appointment reach out and we can get you set up. Please don't wait until it's urgent to get scheduled.
